Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting/Bookkeeping Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience with bookkeeping, financial tasks, and knowledge of accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping accurate financial records updated, maintaining financial transaction records and preparing reports.The Accounting/Bookkeeping Specialist's primary responsibilities will include:-Processing accounts payable and receivable-Daily bookkeeping activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance-Ensuring accuracy of data input into the company's accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks)-Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements including balance sheet and income statement-Managing payroll processing-Performing bank deposits, withdrawals and reconciliations-Assisting in the preparation of cash flow analysis-Working with auditors in preparing necessary documents for audit purposes-Ensuring compliance with local legislative requirements regarding taxes, payroll transfers etc.The successful candidate should have a strong work ethic along with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. They should also possess strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management within the company. Qualified applicants should also have a minimum of two years of prior bookkeeping experience or equivalent qualifications in accounting or finance along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of QuickBooks Online software.
