ABOUT USFounded in 1982, RVi is a leading national planning and
design firm with offices located in TX, AZ, FL, GA, and NC and
engaged in a broad range of project types including community
planning and design, resorts, parks, academic, commercial,
hospitality, and veterans cemeteries throughout the US. We're
looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support RVi's
internal and external business strategies, marketing
communications, and positioning activities. Reporting to the
Marketing Manager, this position requires a detail-oriented
individual with a background in marketing and/or communications-a
team player who can lead the proposal process, communicate
effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives and thrive in a
deadline-driven environment.In this role, you'll prepare
high-impact proposals and communications that highlight our depth
of experience, expertise and creativity. You'll work closely with
our planners and designers to create competitive and compelling
sales messages that convey RVi's strengths and set us apart, and
with key business development leaders to coordinate strategic
client-facing events, materials, and other communications in
alignment with the RVi brand.DUTIESKey Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership and business development team to assist
in the research, qualification, and project pursuit process related
to new business opportunities
- Design and develop winning proposal content and materials by
strategically highlighting RVi's competitive advantages
- Lead and coordinate proposal/qualifications/presentation
development with internal PM's and business developers
- Proactively manage the organization of marketing collateral
including content, documents, images, and project data
- Support social media efforts and web updates, including content
creation, editing, and posting as needed
- Support the team through event planning, sponsorships, award
submissions, and professional photography coordination
- Assist with preparation of promotional materials, including
monthly eNewsletters and digital and printed marketing
collateral
- Participate in biweekly and quarterly marketing
meetingsInternal Communications & Company Culture
- Assists Human Resources committee with employee recognition
efforts
- Help maintain and update company intranet
- Help plan and facilitate company events as neededREQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience developing SOQs and responses to detailed
requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal
skills
- Strong graphic design and layout skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative
Cloud (InDesign experience required), or other desktop publishing
programs. Experience with web-based interfaces is preferred, but
not required
- Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization
skills
- Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as
independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles
and management levels, both in-person and virtual
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior management,
supervisors, peers, and clients as needed
- Ability to successfully balance conflicting priorities and
thrive in a deadline-driven environmentEducation and Experience-
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design,
Journalism, Business, or related field
- 2-5 years of post-graduate professional
