Short Description The Director of Infrastructure Technology is a
key leader in the organization responsible for the management,
strategy and delivery of technical solutions for the organization.
By focusing on our customers and aligning with colleagues across
the Operations and Engineering teams to drive change, you will
develop and evolve a technology vision and execute on it to satisfy
long term business requirements. You will lead a team of leaders
and engineers that build infrastructure services and solutions.
This spans Systems, Storage, Database and Hosting services
including public cloud. You will have had a successful track record
executing IT strategy with the ability to manage directly and by
influence. Ideal candidates will be able to be hands-on and
directly contribute to the successful execution of the team's
initiatives. Your objectives are to understand and anticipate the
technology requirements, in a rapidly-scaling business, and to lead
your team to proactively meet these needs.
- Meet or exceed business goals and KPIs by providing technical
solutions to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Cultivate strong relationships and partnerships with business
partners, customers and IT colleagues.
- Based on customer needs, identify areas within established
processes where technology can improve the overall outcomes.

- Develop and manage metrics to measure and improve IT

- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 30+ employees and

- Validate and track employee performance using effective
leadership, mentorship, oversight and monitoring to ensure
consistency, accuracy, productivity and adherence to objectives.
Other Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an IT infrastructure architecture and technology
roadmap to meet the current/projected needs of HercRentals
- Maintain an appropriate services delivery model (e.g.,
resources, skills, process, and documentation) that is effective,
efficient, and meets business objectives.
- Support IT audits and compliance reviews. Ensure infrastructure
and security processes are compliant with security, audit, and
- Provide timely and credible estimates/options for delivery of
new solutions and projects
- Ensure team deliverables are on-time, on-budget, and
- Maintain state-of-the-market knowledge regarding current and
future infrastructure technologies, including advances in
telecommunications, computing platforms, hosting, operating
systems, databases, information security, and business productivity
- Develop and maintain an IT operations scorecard that
effectively communicates key metrics.

pursuits. Skills Experience & Qualifications --- A minimum of 10+
years of experience in operating systems, security, and
infrastructure management with strong IT process background --- 5-8
years of progressive management positions managing teams
responsible for servers, storage and cloud services --- Amazon
cloud migrations --- ITILv3 certified; with emphasis on the
following practices: Event, Request, Incident, Problem, Change,
Release, Capacity and Configuration --- Prior experience managing
budgets and developing cost/benefit analysis for business and IT
projects --- Vendor management experience in outsourced environment
--- Broad system management background with cloud-based application
solutions to include Microsoft technologies --- Knowledge and
experience with Amazon Cloud and SaaS based applications ---
Demonstrated track record of success in driving improvement of key
performance, availability, cost and other IT metrics --- Experience
working with third party software and service providers ---
Experience in contract management and oversight --- Experience
creating/supporting the creation of departmental plans and roadmaps
Educational Background --- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college
or university in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, or related fields is required. Master's degree is a
