Hiring Company: Overview:The Senior Manager of Local Purveyor
Recruitment & Development leads the strengthening and development
of our Boar's Head Brand national DSD route to market system
through strategic thought, creative solutions, and innovative
thinking. Incumbent will own the responsibility to develop and
execute a strong and stable route infrastructure of local purveyors
through collaboration of internal and external cross functional
teams. The individual will manage distribution recruiting practices
that continuously maintains a healthy level of available candidates
for both company routes and independent local purveyor route
transitions. Core capabilities to be successful include
relationship building, influencing skills and financial acumen.Job
Description:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorking with Sales
Leadership, determine the Company's distribution needs and recruit
Local Purveyors through an extensive search, screening (e.g.,
background and financial checks), and interview process in support
of the Company's overall Local Purveyor model.Work with
cross-functional Leadership, including sales, marketing, finance
and legal to continually develop and improve Local Purveyor
recruiting strategies.Implement and continually enhanced future
purveyor tracking system to manage local purveyor "path to
purveyor"steps and report regularly on the process.Engage senior
leadership in regular updates on local purveyor recruiting progress
and strategies.Provide the CORE (Company Operated Routes striving
for Excellence) Team a "bench" of available national Local Purveyor
candidates that can be utilized by the Company in the event of
immediate needs.Work with Company Finance to coordinate approval of
"arm's length" route transfer agreements between Local Purveyors,
including both existing Local Purveyors and incoming Local Purveyor
candidates.Education, Skills, and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or
equivalent experienceSeven (7) to Ten (10) years of Sales/DSD
experienceHigh degree of PC literacy (in Windows environment) with
spreadsheet, word processing and presentation softwareStrong
multi-tasking abilities and excellent problem solving skillsStrong
written and verbal communication skills, including ability to
present to all levels of managementServe Safe certification and
FSMA certificationIn addition to the above, each Candidate will be
required to complete Boar's Head Purveyor Training Program,
including all operational modulesPhysical DemandsThe position will
require a significant amount of computer screen time, standing,
sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing,
lifting, reaching, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth
perception.Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in an
office environment, with approximately 50% travel as
