Discovery Senior Living has tripled in size over the last three years. This growth is allowing us to expand our executive team. We are looking for a Vice President of Operations. This is a key leadership role. Location in Bonita Springs, FL is required. POSITION SUMMARY This position will direct and develop leadership of the Regional Directors of Operations (RDO). The VP of Operations is responsible for leading and directs the Communities to operational and financial success. Directly responsible for achieving each Communitys resident satisfaction, occupancy and revenue goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the organizations operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies. Communicates a clear, resident focused vision. Reviews annual resident satisfaction survey. Develops and deploys programs to ensure and increase resident satisfaction. Manages the RDOs. Holds RDOs accountable for achievement of community specific and organization wide goals. Develops plan to meet NOI expectations with each RDO. Ensures budgeted revenue is achieved or exceeded by maximizing occupancy. Develops and executes plans to increase occupancy. Reviews monthly financial statements, implements plans of action with Executive Director for deficiencies. Maintains strong knowledge of competition. Develops and executes plans to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the operations. Continually investigates and introduces improvement measures and presents suggestions to SVP of Operations for consideration. Reviews monthly financial statements, implements plans of action with Directors for deficiencies Other duties as assigned Educational Requirements and Experience: A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a related field. MBA preferred but not required. A minimum of seven (7) years experience in a Senior Living or related leadership role with budgetary, financial and hospitality responsibilities We offer a comprehensive total compensation package including bonus.
