Job DescriptionCommunity Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. We are looking for dedicated direct care professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. Individual is a young boy with Autism, seeking assistance after school. Caregiver must be strong, caring and patient. He needs assistance with activities of daily living. Enjoys playing, watching his favorite shows and sensory activities.This is an independent contract position and pays $10.75-$11.00Schedule: Monday and Friday 6pm to 9:30pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4pm to 9:30pm.You will be a good fit for this position if you :

• Demonstrate patience and compassionResponsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
  • Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
  • Meal/snack preparation
  • Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks
  • Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
  • Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
  • Complete daily progress notes
  • No personal care required.Qualifications and Skills
    • Valid driver's license
    • Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
    • Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
    • Have a High School diploma or equivalent
    • Have a Valid Drivers license
