Radiology Technologist like you to be a part of our team. Job
Summary and Qualifications Interventional Radiology Technologist
Rotating call coverage /rotating weekend call required. We are
seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a full-time
basis. You will operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and
assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac
catheterization, as well as those performed in the Interventional
Radiology (IR) Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and
recording/monitoring patient status). We prioritize patient care.

Technologist responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate accountability and responsibility and performs
procedures and care in a caring, compassionate, and respectful
manner
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe,
competent manner in accordance with established operating
procedures
- Accurately perform technical radiographic procedures in
accordance with established operating procedures and routines
- Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with
departmental policy and procedure
- Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review quality of
radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met
- Obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to
exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and obtains
informed consent
- Maintain effective communication with patient providing
explanation of procedures within scope of practice as well as with
caregiver colleagues to include radiologists
- Responsible for rotating call assignments Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a 2-year
AMA-approved school
- Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in
conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR)
experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years licensed experience in Radiology to
include at least one (1) year of IR experience
- Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus BLS required and
ACLS required within 6 months of hire
