Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Fort Myers, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,219 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Surgical Oncology PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Oncology Duration: 7 Weeks Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: 2 years of experience required, must have Oncology experience License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; Chemotherapy certification preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of experience - Oncology experience - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications - RN license Description: This position is for a Surgical Oncology PCU Nurse. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Candidates must possess Oncology experience. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is mandatory. A chemotherapy certification is preferred but not required. The unit consists of 36 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1. Experience with Electronic Medical Records is essential, specifically with Epic. Candidates must have degree accreditation listed in their profile or must have 5 years of experience in the field. Floating to other units is required, and travelers will be the first to float to other locations. Culture is important; travelers are expected to integrate and function as core staff. Important documentation must be submitted by the hard document deadline prior to the start of the assignment.
