Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to
join our pool, serving as a pivotal part of our integrated
healthcare services team. This role offers the unique opportunity
to work across various facility-based and home-based settings
within the region, adhering to our mission of providing
high-quality, cost-effective care tailored to the specific needs of
our patients. As a Physical Therapist in our pool, you will apply
your expertise in physical therapy to assist patients in regaining
mobility and strength, often post-surgery, injury, or in chronic
pain management scenarios. Evaluate patient conditions and create
treatment plans. Implement physical therapy interventions to
improve patient mobility and functionality. Work collaboratively
with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care across
settings. Educate patients and families on treatments and home
exercises. Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance
with facility requirements. Adapt care to meet the needs of
patients with varying medical histories and recovery goals. Strong
knowledge of physical therapy principles and methods. Ability to
tailor interventions to individual patient needs. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using
physical therapy equipment safely and effectively. Ability to work
flexibly across multiple settings as needed. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapy
license in the state of practice. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification.
