Lee Health is seeking a seasoned Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Southwest Florida. In this role, the supervisor will oversee the respiratory therapy department, manage a team of respiratory therapists, and ensure the highest quality of care to patients with respiratory disorders. This position requires a solid knowledge of respiratory care procedures and the ability to manage both personnel and patient care efficiently. Supervise a team of respiratory therapists, providing guidance and professional development Develop and implement policies and procedures for the respiratory department Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards Manage departmental staffing, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Monitor and order supplies and equipment as needed Conduct regular patient case reviews and implement care plans accordingly Strong leadership and organizational skills Expert knowledge of respiratory care practices and equipment Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to solve complex problems effectively Proficient in clinical documentation and healthcare IT systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification Active state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
