Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge
Nurse for our Surgical ICU at one of our leading facilities. In
this role, you'll supervise nursing staff, oversee patient care in
the surgical intensive care unit, and maintain high standards of
safety and efficiency. This position requires a strong leader, who
can mentor staff, manage patient care effectively, and uphold the
mission of HCA Healthcare to significantly improve human life at
every opportunity. Supervise nursing staff and oversee the
day-to-day operations in the Surgical ICU. Coordinate care and
treatments with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient conditions and the quality of care delivered,
making adjustments as needed. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and standards. Assist in the development and
implementation of nursing protocols and procedures. Provide
mentorship and education to ICU nursing staff. Manage staffing
schedules, patient records, and departmental budgets. Strong
leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
In-depth knowledge of ICU procedures and patient care Proficiency
in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
preferred.
