Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Medical Technologist / Generalist Description: The Medical Technologist will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing for all patient types in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Performs waived, moderate and high complexity tests in accordance with state, federal and other regulatory requirements. Completes equipment maintenance, quality control and quality management activities in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and departmental policies and procedures. Is able able to prioritize workload and demonstrate flexibility to meet customer and departmental needs. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field required License Requirements: Florida State Medical Technologist License ASCP Certification About the facility This medical center is a nearly 400-bed acute care facility. The facility belongs to a health system of multiple acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals. In total, the health system serves over a million patients each year.
