Main Objective: Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions with a focus on API first design methodology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee API and integration development teams in a global delivery environment
  
• Work cohesively with a geographically dispersed group of internal and external resources
  
• Work effectively with the functional and technical teams from different departments during all stages of the development lifecycle
  
• Perform technical code reviews to ensure quality deliverables by following development best practices
  
  
• Review monitoring processes for abnormalities and lead improvement efforts
  
  
• Work with the support team in troubleshooting escalated issues
  
• Implementing integrations with a modern API centric solution
  
• Collaborate with and/or lead other development team members
  
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  
  Education and Experience:
  
  
  • 
    
    
  • Bachelor's Degree required
    
  • 2+ years of experience designing, developing or using Web Service API
    
  • 5+ years of experience developing integrations on a commercial middleware platform
    
    
    
    • 
      
      
    • Experience implementing API first design mythology and best practices
      
    • Experience designing and developing restful APIs using specification languages (Ex. RAML, OAS---)
      
    • Proficiency using IDEs such as Anypoint Studio for implementing APIs
      
      
    • Proficient in DevOps deployment processes using CICD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, git, Maven, etc
      
    • Proficiency with IaaS (Azure or AWS) and iPaaS such as CloudHub for API Management
      
      
    • Strong Understanding of Integration Design patterns
      
      
    • Experience with SAP PI/PO middleware platform is a plus
      
    • Solid understanding of complex Data Structures (XSD and XML)
      
    • Experience working with XSLT mapping and XPath expressions & functions required
      
    • Proficiency in integrating with Enterprise ERP and CRM systems such as SAP, Salesforce
      
      
    • Experience working in a Production Support role in a large Enterprise environment
      
      
    • Capable in Java Development
      
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
      
    • Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed
      
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      
    • MuleSoft certifications preferred
