These issues and transactions could include but are not limited to; debt offerings, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions and customer and supplier contracts. This position will be key in determining the correct accounting treatment and assisting management in analyzing any alternative treatments under US GAAP. Additionally, this position will be integral in leading the analysis and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the preparation of the Companys external financial statements and footnotes, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and Proxy Statement.Consult with internal stakeholders on complex transactions to ensure proper accounting and reporting treatment.Inform and consult with management on new accounting and regulatory standardsResearch technical accounting and reporting matters and author accounting memos and research papers.Evaluate complex business transactions to determine the proper accounting treatment and suggest alternative strategies for structuring the transactions.Interact with internal and external auditors on reporting matters and technical accounting issues and transactions.Assist with the preparation and review of investor materialsRequirementsProfessional ExperienceEducational BackgroundBachelors / Masters Degree in Accounting in Active CPA license requiredConditions of EmploymentTravel less than 10%Skills

• Experience with Workiva or similar SEC reporting software and XBRL tagging
• Hyperion Financial Management consolidation system experience preferred
• Experience with a complex SEC reporting company with international operations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong at execution, follow-up and attention to detail
• Extensive experience in writing clear and concise communications on technical accounting and reporting matters
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively interact with executive leadership and external auditors
• Strong leadership experience, including excellent interpersonal skills, staff development and managing the work of others
• A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization
