In this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This is a temporary-to-full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Bonita Springs, Florida area. Your responsibilities - Communicate, reinforce, and support the values, culture, and mission of the organization - Settle bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a variety of ledgers - Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP - Review status of delinquent accounts daily and initiate collection action by contacting customers - Offer information to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders - Carry out an assortment of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks - Corroborate documents and codes - Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plansJob Requirements:- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills - Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy - Billing experience preferred - Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) - 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable - Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills - Current and relevant ERP system experienceAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
