Job Title: Aftermarket Sales Manager FLSA: Exempt Reports To: Marketing Director Job Category (EEO Description): Professionals Job Code (EEO Code): 4 Job Family: Sales Workers SUMMARY: The Aftermarket Sales Manager position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and sales goals are met while achieving the KPIs set for the business unit, through: --- direct sales and OEM dealer programs --- product planning and execution --- creating short and long-term strategies related to the aftermarket sector --- understanding existing and future product demand to support aftermarket needs Additionally, this position has the responsibility for the development of sales tools and customer presentation materials, embraces and executes the Shaw Core Values and actively supports the Company's vision and goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. --- Determine customer part and support needs & wants through market research --- Implement preventative maintenance programs (PM) for items identified as 'maintenance' --- Work with management of the Products group to design strategy and roadmap for aftermarket penetration and expansion --- Work with Warranty and - Customer Care teams to ensure replacement parts are supplied timely and efficiently --- Gather customer requirements (Voice of the Customer) and share with Team Members and Management - --- Develop relationships with OEM dealer networks and promote opportunities - --- Participate in direct customer user groups, trade associations and other forums to understand aftermarket trends - --- Prepare short-term and long-term sales forecasts and special reports and analyses --- Promptly answer internal and external questions and requests related to aftermarket products and marketspace - --- Utilize pricing optimization strategies to maximize profit --- Maintain a high level of knowledge of Shaw products and capabilities to support customer needs - --- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) to ensure consistent growth - --- Communicate issues with Leadership Team at management meetings --- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with customers, associates, and other departments that support aftermarket --- Provide input to the marketing plan to support the strategic plan CORE COMPETENCIES: Strategic Skills --- Business Acumen --- Functional and Technical Skills --- Problem Solving --- Dealing with Ambiguity Operating Skills --- Time Management --- Informing --- Organizing and Planning --- Total Work Systems Courage --- Conflict Management --- Standing Alone --- Sizing Up People Energy and Drive --- Action Oriented --- Drive for Results --- Collaboration Organizational Positioning Skills --- Politically Savvy --- Presentation and Written Communication Skills --- Comfort Around Higher Management --- Political Savvy Personal and Interpersonal Skills --- Customer Focus --- Approachability --- Understanding Others --- Negotiating --- Ethics and Values --- Integrity and Trust --- Listening --- Composure SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This includes following established policies, following AS9100 policies procedures and work instruction, using problem-solving techniques to solve root causes of problems, and viewing quality as customer satisfaction.
